In an attempt by Bollywood to reach out to the world, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards heads to a different country every year for their annual awards. If last time it was the exotic Macau, this year it’s the fascinating Sri Lanka.

Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) but his son and daughter-in-law, who have been regular faces at IIFA since it began ten years ago, might skip the event this year because of their professional commitments.

Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots swept the IIFA awards this year bagging eight honours including Best Film.
