ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity - Multi Display Feature
New graphics card launch for AMD, it’’s ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6th Edition, can offer a truly panoramic view of the game. The ATI Radeon HD 5870 utilizes the world’s most powerful graphics processor, has 2GB of DDR5 memory, and is the first graphics card capable of processing 1 billion pixels per second.
With a single graphics card we can play on one, two, three or six monitors, obviously if the game supports this view. At present there is broad support from software developers such as Bioware, Codemasters, EA and turbines, which adopted the ATI Eyefinity multi screen in recent games with DirectX 11 as of 2 DiRT Codemasters and EA’s Battlefield Bad Company 2 . In addition to the compatibility of the games, we must ensure that the six monitors are equipped with Display Port support.
Hopefully other developers will follow this line, because playing on six monitors – for those who can afford it in terms of costs but also of physical space – is very rewarding to do well but we must monitor the expenditure of even well-regarded € 520 for the Radeon HD 5870.
