Athletic Center in France - New Concept
Athletic Center to be constructed in the Basroch neighborhood of Grande Synthe in France. Currently under construction, the facility will host rugby, soccer and cycling and archery clubs, and also responds to strict criteria of sustainability.
A retaining pond and water treatment locale for internal consumption will also be incorporated.
The development will include solar thermal panels for over 40 percent of hot water heating, and about 10,800 square feet of photovoltaic membranes on the roof to address peak electricity demands.
At the base there are rugby, soccer facilities and administrative offices, while the hollowed-out portion features a spacious covered terrace that will allow a large audience to attend various sporting events.
