26 January 2010 Republic Day of India
The Republic Day of India is the day that results the adoption of the Constitution of India and the evolution of India from a British Dominion to a republic on 26 January, 1950, and it is one of the national holidays in India.
India is a nation which is blessed with diverse religions, civilizations, cultures and languages all inter-playing with each other in harmony. This day also marks the gratitude that we Indians prosper in a sovereign, secular and democratic soil that stands for the principles of justice, equality, fraternity and liberty; the golden words that form the spirit of our Preamble.
Mahatma Gandhi Quotes, "The Roots of Violence, wealth without work; pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character; Commerce without morality; Science without humanity, Worship without sacrifice; Politics without principles;" "The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problems."
