Epson has introduced its two latest models of ultra short throw projectors.The models are Epson PowerLite 450W and Epson PowerLite 460 Ultra Short Throw Projectors.The former offers 2500 lumens white light and color light output and WXGA 16:10 resolution while the latter features 3000 lumens brightness and XGA resolution.Both the projectors can be mounted as close as 2.5 inches away from the wall to accommodate smaller classrooms or meeting rooms, and can easily be used with a standard or interactive whiteboard, projection screen or a simple white wall.The models can project a 60-inch diagonal image with the lens only 18 inches away.
Epson PowerLite 450W and Epson 460 both are 3LCD-based and use Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology, the lamp life can last up to 3500 hours.Both the models also have built-in closed captioning decoder and are able to instantly project images from a Windows PC or Mac via a USB connection.Epson PowerLite 450W is available at a price of US $1499 while the Epson PowerLite 460 is priced at US $1699.
