Dil na milte to mulaakaat adhuree rahatee
Baat to hotee magar baat adhuree rahatee
Shukriya tera tere aane'se ronak to baDhee
Naheen to yah mah'fil ek jas'bat adhuree rahatee
Tune apne daaman men chhupaaye mere aansoo
Naheen to aankhon kee barsaat adhuree rahatee.
