The C702s brother, the C902, has a better camera (5MP) and also sports face detection technology, a feature found in some high-end cameras already. This tracks the faces in the shot and focusses on them, making sure you don't get a sharp wall and a blurred friend if you frame off-center. Inexplicably, though, this otherwise superior model forgoes the GPS tagging. Why?

Phone-wise, both handsets have UMTS/HSDPA/GSM/EDGE, an FM radio, music player and slots for a Memory Stick Micro.
Both phones suffer from a poor UI design, though. It just shows that simply adding in touch doesn't mean a thing without some thought. It might be because I am spoiled on the iPod Touch interface, but after spending about a minute to unlock the thing, it just got worse. Everything I touched on screen did something unexpected, or dumped me into a confusing morass of graphics. Sony Ericsson need to buck up and make something as good as the old P900 again.
