The D7000 is nikon’s latest mid-range DX-format DSLR camera for the mass market. This compact yet elegant camera offers a 16.2-megapixel CMOS image sensor, a high performance EXPEED 2 image processor, a 3-inch TFT LCD display, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, ISO up to 6400, an HDMI interface and the ability to record 1920 x 1080p Full HD video at 24fps. The Nikon D7000 will go on sale in mid-October for $1,200 (body only).
