Myriam Fares is a Lebanese singer, at age 21, Fares signed her first record deal, and launched her debut album, "Myriam" on October 21, 2003. Her music video for the hit song "Ana Wel Shouk" became one of the most requested music videos as soon as it was broadcasted on local and cable television.
In 2008, she was picked to appear in adverts for Sunsilk shampoo and Freshlook contact lenses, somewhat less high profile than her rival Nancy Ajram Coca-Cola campaign. She was cast in her first acting role as the main actress in the movie remake of the Rahbani's theater play Silina.
