Muppets Most Wanted is an upcoming American musical comedy mystery film, directed by James Bobin, written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Mandeville Films. The film is a sequel to 2011's The Muppets and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey.
In the film, the Muppets find themselves unwillingly involved in an international crime caper while on tour in Europe. Principal photography commenced in January 2013 at Pinewood Studios in London. Muppets Most Wanted is scheduled to be released on March 21, 2014.
