Motorola has announced the Moto W7 Active Edition, a slider phone.MOTO W7 is equipped with an accelerometer that senses your body’s motions, orientation and hand gestures to perform tasks. They can flip the phone to silence an incoming call, snooze the alarm or pause music. Moreover, they are able to shake the W7 twice to launch a favorite application, or flick it to skip songs and images.Motorola’s MOTO W7 has a 2.2-inch display, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, media player, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. It supports quad-band GSM and UMTS 3G.
MOTO W7 features two cameras, a 2.0 megapixel for still photos and a second VGA camera for video calls. There's 30MB of user available memory and up to 8GB via a MicroSD slot. The slider style phone can be paired with Motorola's MOTOROKR S9-HD Stereo Bluetooth headphones, or your preferred headset.
A built-in step pedometer counts and records your daily walks and runs to make every step count. Work out on your own terms with a Personal Trainer application that creates a personal profile and helps you to set goals, create workout profiles and review summary reports. MOTO W7 also features an MP3 player, FM Radio and full screen video viewing1, along with 8GB optional external memory for even more music and media while on-the-go.
MOTO W7 Active Edition will be available in Q2 2009 in Asia and Latin America, in Licorice and Alpine White colors.
