The Wireless Media Desktop 1000 is more a direct replacement for the Wireless Optical Desktop and shrinks the footprint while adding much of the style of the 6000, a Flip 3D key for navigation, and the same number of Favorites keys.

Both are listed as supporting both Macs and Windows PCs and will be ready later this month at prices of $100 for the Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 and $50 for the Wireless Media Desktop 1000. The keyboard from the 6000 will be available as a stand-alone item at the same time for $60.
