Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 and QuickCam Pro for Notebooks Webcams unveiled in India

Logitech has introduced the QuickCam Pro 9000 and the QuickCam Pro for Notebooks webcams in India. Logitech has collaborated with Carl Zeiss for the lenses and the result can be seen in these new QuickCam Pro-series webcams which establish a new standard for webcam image quality, enabling users to make video calls with perfect clarity and detail.

The QuickCam Pro 9000 uses Logitech’s premium autofocus system for fast and fluid focusing that eliminates the inconvenience of manual focusing. The company’s autofocus system refocuses images in under 3 seconds, ensuring that images remain crisp even in extreme close-ups (up to 10cm from the camera lens).



The Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 features a true two megapixel sensor that can capture up to 8 mega pixel photos, as well as RightSound and RightLight 2 Technology. It is perfect for office as well as home use as it comes with a flexible universal base, allowing it to rest on almost any monitor.

Further, the QuickCam Pro 9000 webcam works seamlessly with a number of video messaging applications such as Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM.

Offering high-definition video capture, the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 is able to record videos at up to 30 frames per second. This webcam supports the 720p HD video format and records to disc at a resolution of 960 by 720 pixels, allowing users to capture and view crystal clear clips.

The second webcam launched by Logitech in India is the QuickCam Pro for Notebooks also uses a premium autofocus system for fast and fluid focusing, without the hassle of manual focusing.

Further, it even comes with a protective travel case and adjustable, spring-tension clips that can accommodate even large laptops with panels up to 20mm thick. The QuickCam Pro for Notebooks also includes a stylish stand that sits perfectly on one’s desktop, raising the webcam to eye level.

The Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks also works well with Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM. It too can record videos up to 30 frames per second, supporting 720p HD video format.
