John, an MBA graduate, is half Irani-half catholic. He first came to notice after winning the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in March 2000. John then did some advertisements before stepping into the tinsel town.
John’s potential as an actor came to the fore in Jism (with Bipasha). His bike-riding thief act in the last year’s hit Dhoom consolidated his position in Bollywood. In the meantime, he did Deepa Mehta’s arty movie ‘Water’ in which he belied the long-held view that models cannot act. John recently showed his flair for comedy in Priyadarshan’s Garam Masala .
Today, John has cemented his place in the Hindi movie world.
Personally, John is a conservative man when it comes to relationships. He doesn’t believe in one-night-stands and holds the view that a person should be loyal and committed in relationships.
As we all know, bikes are John’s passion (after Bipasha, of course). He is also a health conscious man who likes to work out for hours everyday.
Sure, he will live long.
