IKEA, the furniture giant has announced the launch of smart furniture including desks, tables and lamps that will wirelessly charge phones and other devices. The company is said to be using Qi wireless technology in order to charge devices that are placed on or even near the furniture and this collection will hit the stores in April 2015. Therefore, the users will no longer be required to endure the mess of charger or socket to charge their devices though, the furniture itself will require a power source to ensure the energy transfer to your smartphone or tablet.
