Human Face Fish: Mix Carp Species

Fish with human-looking faces are causing quite a stir in South Korea. Believed to be the mix of two carp species, the fish appear to have human-like noses, eyes and lips. The fish have generated an enormous amount of curiosity.



The two fish have lived in a pond behind the home of a man in the small town of Chongju since 1986, but are just starting to attract attention. Scientists tell the Sun that since the two fish are female, it's unlikely we will see more of these fish produced.
