Epson has announced the availability of the PictureMate PM270 4R portable photo printer in the Indian market. The company claims that the printer offers a multitude of features in its little compact body.
The PictureMate PM270 features a comfortable carry handle and folds easily into a box, thus ideal for those who have printing needs whilst they are on-the-move. The optional battery pack makes it possible for owners to print 4R lab-quality photos anytime anywhere.
It has the capability of rolling out a lab-quality photo in only 37 seconds. The Epson Claria Photographic Inks produces photo lab-quality print outs. It generates glossy photos with true-to-life colors and guards your precious memories from fading thanks to its exceptional durability of up to 200 years (in dark album storage conditions). In addition, the Epson PictureMate technology is bundled with Epson Claria PhotoEnhance, an automatic scene correction function that corrects skin tones, colour casts and exposure levels to the maximum to produce perfect photos.

The Epson the PictureMate PM270 4R portable photo printer is powered by the award-winning Micro-Piezo print head for high-speed printing and Advanced Variable Sized Droplet Technology for accuracy control over ink droplet sizes (up to 5760 dots per inch resolution), these key technologies make sure that the photos produced are of the highest quality.
The PM270 4R incorporates a wide card slot bay which is compatible with most of the current type of memory cards. In addition, the printer includes a tiltable 3.6? color LCD screen, and gives users the pleasure of experiencing PC-less printing. Alternatively, users can plug in their PictBridge devices for direct photo printing.
What’s more, an optional Bluetooth toggle could also be just another way for you to print easily. This enables the Epson PictureMate to receive images from any Bluetooth-enabled devices.

The new EPSON PictureMate uses a single ink cartridge and is retailed as a bundle. It comes with 150 pieces of 4R photo paper and one ink cartridge (sufficient for 150 printouts).
