Ecoisme - a single device that takes less than 10 minutes to setup – that uses a combination of spectrum and power analysis to identify everything that is plugged in the home. How it works is, each appliance creates a unique noise through the main power line in the fusebox. Ecoisme connects to that main line and tracks the electric bands giving each device a specific fingerprint. With that, it can trail all energy consumptions, and notify the user all the exact information to one single simple application through wifi connectivity.



The software can then convey recommendations, alerts and safety notifications. for example, family members can be notified when the iron or kitchen oven is on for too long, or even find out which appliances aren't energy efficient. The data can be accessed by either a smartphone, tablet or computer. The krakow based project is currently needing funding on indiegogo, with plans to ship the final product in march-april 2016.
