Hot on the heels of its success with "He's Just Not That Into You", production studio New Line is setting out to create another rom-com box office smash, this one entitled "Valentine's Day". Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba and Anne Hathaway are being lined up as co-stars.
Crossed paths, misunderstandings and reconciliations will all feature in this extravaganza, unsurprisingly scheduled for release on February 14th 2010. Director Garry Marshall, the man behind the unforgettable "Pretty Woman", will be filming the characters' experiences of thwarted love on Valentine's Day. Julia Roberts, who Marshall brought to fame twenty years ago, will play a soldier on leave from Iraq. That gives her a chance to up her ratings after the failure of "Duplicity". However, with marketing like this, the film's real success will depend on the number of dates made to see it!
