Primal Fear is the 1993 thriller Novel by William Diehl about an altar boy accused of murder and the attorney defending him. It was adapted into the film Primal Fear in 1996, starring Richard Gere and Edward Norton.

Primal Fear is a 1996 motion picture which tells a story of a defense attorney (Richard Gere) who defends an altar boy (Edward Norton) charged with the murder of a Catholic archbishop. The movie is an adaptation of William Diehl's novel. Norton was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his career-launching role.

Yes Deewangee is a remake of the english movie Primal fear. I think primal fear was better than Deewangee but deewangee is a good entertainer. It has the tendency to keep the audience at the edge of the seat. Ajay devgan and Aksahye Khanna give a mindblowing performance. My rating - 9/10

Nothing new dear, mostly all hollywood movies r adapted by novels n bollywood is always inspired by them. But now bollywood filmmakers are paying loyalties to the original owners. So that they can release it worldwide. Big hollywood banners like Warner bros. And Fox searchlight have tied up with bollywood to use their all copyright contents legally. This step was taken in strict action when they sued the producers of movie PARTNER(word to word copy of HITCH) At present 80% bollywood movies r inspired frm hollywood. But its now becoming legal and loyalty paid. So its not a big deal now. Even new movie GHAGINI was inspired by hollywood movie MEMENTO. New movies like Chandni Chownk to China, Roadside Romeo, Kambakhqt Ishq, Slumdog, and many others are co-produced by hollywood. So if u heard something new like this. Just have fun.
