Da Shuhua - Fiery Celebration of Iron Melting

Every year, during the Lantern Festival, the Chinese village of Nuanquan hosts one of the most spectacular pyrotechnics show in the world. Called Da Shuhua the tradition involves experienced blacksmiths showering themselves with molten iron.
