1 Chicken Breast – skinless & cut into pieces
2 Cloves Garlic
1 tablespoon Freshly Ground Pepper
1 Cup All Purpose Flour/Plain Flour
1 tablespoon Paprika
Salt to taste
1 Egg
Cucumber - Sliced into thin strips
Red Onion - Thinly sliced
Tomato - Thinly Sliced
Mayonnaise
Oil to deep fry
1 Pack of Shop Bought Wraps
METHOD
1. Wash and dry the chicken pieces
2. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves or you can grind to a paste
3. Rub the chicken pieces with the garlic
4. Add the pepper and mix well
5. Leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes
6. Break an egg into a bowl and whisk well
7. In a second bowl add the flour, paprika, salt and mix well
8. Heat oil in a pan
9. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg and then into the flour
10. Optional: Repeat the process in step 9
11. Add to hot oil
12. Fry till chicken is cooked
13. Remove to a plate with kitchen paper to remove any excess oil
14. Heat the wraps under a warm grill for 1-2 minutes
15. Place the chicken pieces on top
16. Add the cucumber, tomato and onions slices
17. Top with mayonnaise & ketchup or chilli sauce
18. I left it open for the picture but to fold.... fold the bottom side inwards and then flab over the right side and then left side
19. Get a square of foil and wrap and twist the ends
20. Serve immediately
