6 Burger Buns
2 skinless Breasts - cut into six fillets
1 Cup shredded Lettuce
6 tablespoon Mayonnaise
2 Cup Self Raising Flour
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Freshly Ground Pepper
1 tablespoon Salt
1 teaspoon Paprika
2 Eggs
Oil to deep fry
DIRECTIONS FOR FILLET
1. In a bowl add flour, garlic powder, pepper, salt and paprika and mix well
2. In a separate bowl whisk up the eggs
3. Dip the fillets in the egg mixture and then in the flour mixture
4. Repeat the process and dip in egg and then in flour again
5. Heat oil in a wok
6. Add the fillets and fry for 6-8 minutes till the chicken is cooked and the crust is golden brown and crispy
7. Drain on kitchen towel
8. Place in oven to keep warm while you prepare the buns
DIRECTIONS FOR BURGER
1. Preheat an oven
2. Place a non stick tray in to heat up
3. Cut burger into half
4. Remove tray and Place buns in the tray
5. Return tray to oven and toast the buns both sides
6. Remove buns once toasted to your preferce
7. Add a layer of mayonnaise on both the inside parts
8. On the base part add a layer of lettuce
9. Place a chicken fillet on top of the lettuce
10. Add top part of bun
11. Place a cocktail stick through it
12. Serve immediately with fries & coleslaw or beans
For a spicy version, add chilli sauce with mayo too or add chili flakes to the flour mixture
