The bride reportedly wore a traditional gold-coloured sharara while the groom was dressed in a white sherwani. Ayesha looked stunning in her wedding finery with her head covered with a dupatta. Actually, Ayesha is not used to wearing traditional clothes. She generally wears western outfits.
Though the nikaah was a hush hush affair, the couple’s parents will host a reception party to celebrate the wedlock. As many as 5000 guests are said to have been invited and many Bollywood celebs are also expected to attend the function to congratulate Ayesha.
Farhan’s father Samajwadi Party leader, Abu Azmi was hospitalized after an operation. According to Ayesha’s close friend ,the wedding took place in Mumbai. However the actress is frantically running around shopping for her trousseau. Being a professional Ayesha will complete Revathy’s film which is woman oriented film after marriage.
There is a strong buzz in the industry circles that she will not sign any new films thereafter and bow out of the film industry. Though Ayesha has three major films, Salman Khan starring ‘Wanted Dead And Alive’ which is almost complete and Revathy Kumar’s Phir Tum Mile starring R. Madhavan and Jaya Bachchan. Her Akshay Kumar starrer Eight By Ten is ready for release this April. That apart she is playing a cameo role in Ahmed khan’s Paathshala and giving her voice for animated feature Ab Dilli Door Nahin.
Ayesha and Farhan, a restaurateur, have been in a steady relationship for many years. She has three upcoming movies in Bollywood – Wanted Dead And Alive with Salman Khan , Eight By Ten with Akshay Kumar and a film being directed by Revathy.
