The Archos 105 is a very small MP3 player which also has a 1.8 inch color screen for video playback. It weighs just 1.8 ounces and the dimensions are 3.3×1.8×0.3 inches so it will easily fit in your pocket. It only has 2GB of space which isn’t great and in terms of file format it is only compatible with MP3, CBR, VBR and WMA.
You have to convert your video files to put them on the Archos as it will only accept WMV format. The screen is 160×128 pixels so you can fit a fair amount of video footage on there (around 75MB per hour).
You can also put JPEGs on there and view them if you like. To transfer files you simply connect via USB to your PC and drag and drop.
It lacks extra features like a radio, the resolution for videos is very low and the video conversion is tedious.
Other great features include an advanced Li-Ion battery for up to 18 hours of continuous music playback, and high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity for ultra-fast file transfers.
The player will begin to charge any time its USB cable is connected to a computer.
