The Taiwanese company, Acer had proven that they are not yet left behind when it comes to smartphones. Parading today is its first ever Android power smartphone tagged as Acer Stream. The l smartphone is proved to be really powerful with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor joined with the Android 2.1 commonly known as Éclair as its operating system making this one of the fastest and most reactive phones available in the market.
Fans of the Nexus One, Droid Incredible and Ero should consider this spectacular phone as being more ahead than its predecessor Android phones. Android Stream will support Nexus One like specs but is more powerful and faster. The phone will be having a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen that ensures 1.67 million bright colors and superb 2000:1 contrast ratio. Although its sure to have higher and better display it has the less energy feature to ensure less of battery life.
It also has 512 MB of RAM, 2GB of internal Flash memory, 8GB memory card and a micro-SD card slot that can expand up to 32GB enabling a nonstop downloading and saving of multimedia and graphics. It also promises ultrafast connectivity 3G+, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps for downloading, Bluetooth and UPnP streamer on its Wi-Fi for a better and faster sharing with other devices.
Also integrated in this smartphone is a 5 megapixel camera that has the ability to record 720p video and can playback files supported by Xvid, WMV HD and other. It is also supported by RDS allowing better listening experience of music and radio sounds and is Dolby Mobile quality.
The company focused on answering the needs of its users by developing a more accessible and quick to access smartphone.
Acer Stream includes a fluid 3D interface for a smooth animation interface, lock screen widget for reading information, one tap capable for an easier way of starting up an application with its status bar showing all the needed information and providing the shortcuts. It also has switch apps that contains the History panel which can be found at the top part of the Home screen, and has the ability to customize application orders and the phone itself according to want of the customer.
The new Acer Android smartphone has 3 types of predictive keyboard, smart dialer and redesigned contact list. Completing its amazing features are the most popular applications preloaded in it, Nemo player, Acer Ur Fooz, Facebook, Twidroid and Spinlets. This truly amazing phone really excites everyone, however there is no word yet about the price for the new Acer Stream or when it will be launch. It was just spotted while clearing the FCC earlier this week.
