After Shoaib Akhtar here is another Rawalpindi Express Pakistani female sprinter Naseem Akhtar, who won a gold medal in the 100-metre sprint at the South Asian Games in Dhaka February 8 and becomes the fastes asian woman sprinter.

Naseem Akhtar, 22, of Rawalpindi, completed the sprint in 11.81 seconds, beating Sri Lanka's Pramila Priyadarshani by 0.12 seconds among the eight runners at Bangabandhu National Stadium. Akhtar is the first Pakistani woman to win gold in the last 26 years of the regional games.
