Hadiqa Kiyani: Az Chashme Saqi - Music Video
Music is a universal language and Pakistani pop singer Hadiqa Kiani has proven that in her Persian number. The Kalam-e-Iqbal titled "Az Chasme Saqi" sung by Hadiqa Kiani to tribute the legendary poet Dr Muhammad Allama Iqbal. The song is sung in Persian with an English translation. The song has an Arabic vibe, which probably comes from the experience Hadiqa has had performing in the Middle East during these past few years. The song is featured in her latest music album Aasmaan.

Hadiqa Kiyani Az Chashme Saqi English Translation By Arthur J. Arberry
By the Saqi’s eyeHeart-enflamed I lie;
Drunk without wine–
O delight divine!
All unveiled, desire
Burns a fiercer fire;
Let me see or no,
Yet my soul’s aglow.
See the rebec’s string
At my fingering
Like a candle’s wick
Flameth bright and quick.
Save my heart can be
Lodging none for me,
Naught is me assigned,
Ne‘er a way I find.
Till the sun arise
From the eastern skies
Sleep to me denied.
Like the stars I ride.
