Soft-World International is all set to cater the demands of Chinese online gamers with its Xenjo Journey Online, the first online game based on a Chinese-language interface. The Taiwan-based developer displayed the cross–platform game last month. While the number of China’s online gamers is nearing 59 million this year, an up of 20 percent from last year, the release of Xenjo Journey Online will further boost the gaming industry due to its dual nature.
The game can be played on both PCs and the Xbox 360. In January 30 press conference, Soft-World International has stated that the PC version of Xenjo Journey Online will be launched in April this year, while the Xbox 360 version will come sometime next year. The company is in talk with Microsoft for the development later version. Initially, the Xenjo will be available only in Taiwan and may reach other places later.
