She lives in a fantasy world in her mind
where life is so easy and everything's fine
She knows she can't stay there, but she sure as hell tries
It's better than facing her own web of lies
She hides from her problems and runs from her fears
She drowns herself every night in her tears
Some call her a coward, some call her insane,
I'd like to see them take one half of her pain
She runs away,
not knowing which way to go
She tries so hard,
but she just can't let go
And all of her lies
are getting harder to hide
And nobody knows...
That she's dying inside
She knows that suicide isn't the way,
though she thinks of it at least once every day.
Too proud and afraid to face her own mistakes,
She just hates herself more with every heart she breaks.
She runs away,
not knowing which way to go
She tries so hard,
but she just can't let go
And all of her lies
are getting harder to hide
And nobody knows...
That she's dying inside.
These thoughts just fill her head
She thinks she's better off dead
She wants to run away and never come back.
She's crying on the floor,
screaming, "I can't take this anymore!
How the hell did my life get so off track?"
She runs away,
not knowing which way to go
She tries so hard,
but she just can't let go
And all of her lies
are getting harder to hide
And nobody knows...
That she's dying inside.
