Along with the above advice it is also very important to quit habits like smoking. One of the main reasons for it is that smoke has a lots of particles which gets accumulated in the heart and may cause blockage and at times can even lead to attacks. Saturated fats should also be avoided as they too can create the blockages in the arteries. Cardiac exercises are on of the best things to maintain a good health for your heart.

if you want to stay healthy, and reduce the heart attack risks follow the steps we are going to mention here:

• You can only tackle the disease when you know the risk factors that cause you heart problems.
• Get a regular exercise chart and try to maintain the health.
• Have a perfect diet plan and healthy food should be a part of your life.
• Quit smoking because that reduces the health problems and respiratory diseases.
• Stay away from saturated fats! Saturated fats are present in dairy products, fatty meat, butter and many more.
• Reduce the amount of salt in your food, because salt increases the risk!
• Stay alert from hidden fats.
• Add more omega 3 products to your diet, even we have omega 3 eggs too, try to use them
• If you are overweight then try hard to reduce your weight.
• Don’t forget to laugh, because laughter helps you reduce heart disease risks.

I have a Nike monitor and just run it under the tap before I put it on - I run with it and don't really notice it. It works fine, doesn't dry up.

If it turns out it doesn't work for you for some reason, you can get a special gel to put on it that will last longer (its the same gel they use when they give ultrasounds)
