The Flybook VM Notrbook Typifies Their Ingenuity

Flybook has burst on the scene as one of the best innovators in mobile PC design. Their notebooks designed in Italy and manufactured in Taiwan -- fuse style and personality with leading technology and impressive quality. The Flybook VM typifies their ingenuity. It features an Intel Core Duo processor, 3G wireless broadband, and totally unique chassis design.

Thanks to a telescoping arm, the screen can be positioned higher and over the keyboard, and at any angle. Quite honestly, when we first saw this feature we thought, "that's nice but why would we really want to do that?" But it only takes 30 minutes of real-world use to see the distinct advantage. A screen that is precisely oriented to the way you sit -- instead of the other way around -- is much easier on your neck and your eyes. We really like this feature. The Flybook VM features an Intel ULV Core Duo 1.06 GHz (U2400) processor, 2 GB RAM (max), 60 GB hard drive, and integrated dual-layer DVD burner. The 12.1" display is a wide-aspect 1280x768 TFT.

Other integrated features include Bluetooth 2.0, wireless 802.11 a/b/g, fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, microphone, ExpressCard/54, and camera (great for Skype videoconferencing). It now features (optional) integrated 3G wireless broadband. The wireless module utilizes HDSPA technology for the fastest wireless broadband available, and it is also compatible with UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM. Like any unlocked mobile phone, you simply insert a SIM chip and use.
