Snail W3D Android Powered Gaming Smartphone
Chinese company has introduced their gaming smartphone at CES 2015, the Snail W3D is an Android smartphone designed specifically for high-performance gaming. It has a built-in joystick and a 3D screen, with high-definition graphics running on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
Android-based gaming smartphones, Snail W3D feature a 5.5-inch HD display, 13 MP camera, 2.0GHz, A7+A17 eight-core processor, which, Snail claims, has an 87 per cent improved CPU and an 88 per cent improved GPU with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory expandable to 64 GB via micro SD card. The 4,000MAh battery is reported to provide six hours of continuous gameplay.
The Snail W3D will bundle a 3D glass for free with the W3D smartphone, which features eye-tracking technology for real time auto adjustment. The left-hand side has a joystick and direction pad while the righ-hand side has a second joystick and the usual diamond of buttons, mimicking the style of the Sony PSP. This gaming smartphone slated for release in Spring 2015 with a US launch hopefully within the year.
