Soap Box Derby Racing Event In Kilflynn

Kilflynn, Ireland is going to host it's first soap box race event on March 1, just like Red Bull soap box races that attract hundreds of entries each year, the fun event will feature a maximum of 64 non-powered cars. Teams will consist of three members, one of whom can drive due to insurance restrictions. Organizers have secured the perfect route for the race, with cars traveling from the entrance at Fearr An Flainn to the bottom of the bridge. A number of strict guidelines have been put in place regarding the size, dimensions and other features of the cars allowed to enter Prizes will be given to the top three placed cars and a trophy will also be presented to the best turned out car.
