Dream of Handicapped Child
Slovenian photographer, Matej Peljhan, wanted to help 12 year old Luka to realize his dreams of life outside of his wheelchair. Growing up with muscular dystrophy, a degenerative disease that severely limits his mobility, Luka uses his imagination and drawings as a way to escape his physical limitations.
Rather than relying on photoshop to achieve his goals, Matej decided to involve Luka in the process. Using everyday objects and a shifted perspective, he managed to create a series of fantastical scenes with Luka as the star.
