Saying goodbye

We all have those special people in our lives, who we want to hold on to. But sometimes, their part in our lives is finished and they move on. And yes, it really hurts to let them go and know that things will never be the same. All of us have experienced it. But the good news is after awhile, if you are willing to stay with the hurt, the rawness and the pain, you will find your heart has healed. And if you can be courageous again to step back and build new connections, you will find more meaningful and better relationships, if you can stop the comparison with what was.
