Optoma has announced a new home theater projector but this time it features 3D contents and called Optoma HD66 3D Ready Home Theater Projector.Optoma HD66 is the first 3D ready home theater projector from Optoma that is targeted towards gamers and movie enthusiasts.Optoma HD66 3D Ready Home Theater Projector is powered by Texas Instruments’ 0.65 DMD DLP chipset with BrilliantColor technology.Optoma HD66 3D Ready Home Theater Projector can project 3D content in three different resolutions: 720p HD (1280 x 720), XGA (1024 x 768) or SVGA (800 x 600), and provides 2500 ANSI lumens brightness and 4,000:1 contrast ratio. The unit also comes with a built-in 2-watt speaker and several input and output connections including HDMI, VGA-in, S-video, composite video, stereo audio-in and RS-232.Optoma HD66 3D Ready Home Theater Projector will be available for sale by the start of 2010 at an estimated price of US $699.
