Oculus Floating City - Rising Tide Victims
An artificial island concept proposed for Fort Denison in Sydney, Australia, which aims to provide a sustainable, temporary shelter to those displaced by rising sea levels. Created by the Australian firm Oculus for Sea Change 2030+, the floating refuge will sink deeper into Sydney Harbour with increase in water levels. Thus, the inverted design will expose further land on the island.
