Dell XPS 11 MacBook Air Competitor
Dell introduced the new XPS 11 inspired by the new trends and feature attractive designs, making this device a direct competitor to the MacBook Air 11.
The Dell XPS 11, features a 360 degree hinge which allows to you use it in laptop, tent, stand or tablet modes. The keyboard, however, is touch-sensitive rather than having mechanical keys so that might turn some people off.
But the 11.6' display of the XPS 11 may prove to be its biggest selling feature. It comes with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution by default. The touch-enabled display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Innards of the system include a 1.5Ghz dual-core Intel Core i3 Haswell processor, with 4 GB worth memory, integrated graphics and 80 GB SSD storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, card slot and headset jack.
Windows 8.1 64-bit comes pre-installed. The XPS 11 starts at $1000.
