Kalam is a beautiful small town and has many good hotels. It is located in a beautiful valley at the junction of the Swat and Ushu rivers. The scenery all around is spectacular. It is geographically an ideal place to make your base camp and explore wonderful places. The Billion Tree Tsunami was a tree plantation drive launched in 2014, by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan & Imran Khan initiated.

Oh, Kalam is absolutely stunning! I've been lucky enough to visit a couple of times, and let me tell you, the natural beauty there is something else. The green valleys, the rivers, it's like a paradise on Earth.
