Baikal Ice Marathon 2014 - Run For Water
The 10th Baikal Ice Marathon 2014 started on March 1 here at Lake Baikal. Every year participants come from over 50 countries and race over a 42 kilometer course across the completely frozen surface of Baikal, the oldest and deepest freshwater lake on Earth. the Baikal Ice Marathon is held for a noble cause pf "the Preservation of Clean Water".
