The Archos 101 G9 is made of dark gray plastic, and it looks like any number of other widescreen Android tablets. The 101 G9's tapered edges and back panel make it look a little slimmer than it actually is, which helps. The hard plastic back panel feels a little cheap. Various ports and buttons stick out of the sides; that makes it easy to pop in a microSD card or adjust the volume, but difficult to handle the unit without accidentally pressing something. The charging cable also completely blocks the microSD card slot.
