Kabhi nazrein milane mein zamane beet jate hein
Kabhi nazrein churane mein zamane beet jate hein

Kisi ne ankh bhi kholi to sone ki nagri mein
Kisi ko ghar banane mein zamane beet jate hein

Kabhi kali seyah raatein humein pal pal ki lagti hein
Kabhi ik pal bitane mein zamane beet jate hein

Kabhi khola ghar ka darwaza khadi thi samne manzil
Kabhi manzil ko aane mein zamane beet jate hein

Ik ik pal mein toot jate hein umr bhar ke woh rishtey
Woh rishtey jo banane mein zamane beet jate hein
