Volkswagen BlueSport Roadster is seeing life in four years as the all-new mid-engine 2-seat ragtop will finally pursue the production line. Since Volkswagen has drawn the concept of the BlueSport Roadster, we will be welcoming an affordable low emission convertible made with lightweight construction methods, this means some use of aluminum, plastics, and similar materials with minimum fuel consumption. No powertrains specs mentioned yet but speculations show that it would likely be a tweaked version of the lively 2.0-liter unit now offered in VW’s Jetta compact sedan. The VW BlueSport Roadster will be materialized in Europe until 2012.
