ایک ایسی گہری رات کے بعد ۔۔۔
طلوع ہونے والی نئے سال کی صبج کیسی ہوگی،
جب آگہی جرم بن چکی ہے
جب الفت و محبت میں ڈوبے ہوئے لمحے
وقت کی ٹوٹی ہوئی کرچیوں میں خون آلود پڑے ہیں،
اور وقت کی بے وفائی ،
بے دام ہو چکی ہے
اور آدمی اپنے انسان ہونے کے احساس سے محروم ہے
جب ایک کلی پھول بننے کی عمر کو نہیں چھو سکتی
۔۔۔۔۔جب ایک خیال
خوشبو کی لہر نہ بن سکے گا۔
تو آنے والے سال کا نیا دن
بسنت کے رنگ کیونکر بانٹھے گا۔
آج محبت جرم بن چکی ہے اور ۔۔۔۔
ایک بار پھر
کچا گھڑا ، محبت کے شو ر مچاتے
دریا کی لہروں میں گم ہوتا جارہا ہے
کوئی ہے،
جو مبحت کی اس دعا کوسمیٹے لے ۔
اور انسان کے پتھر نما چہرے پر
روشنی بکھر دے ۔
