We concentrate on larger things
That happens in our life
But it's life's little blessings
That banishes our strife.

The sun that shines the flowers in bloom
Such things we just accept
Are we thankful for the things we have
Enjoy them with respect?

Life's little blessings
Are gigantic in their worth
Things we take for granted
Since the beginning of our birth.

Take the time to smell the flowers
As you go along your way
Be thankful for your bounty
At the end of each new day.
