Star Gate PC Case Mod
This inspiration is being used to create one of the best themed PC cases out there. There have been a lot of modifications and designs for new PC cases but with this pyramid case, you might not even turn your computer off anymore by just looking at that amazing case.
The process of building this PC case was long and we will go through some steps from the design and completion of this project. It would be worthwhile to see how a great creation like this came to life and some of the obstacles encountered right smack in the middle of it.
Since the concept is already in place, the next step is to get on to its basic plan. The creator of this case wanted to have one side of the pyramid to open. So he had t choose the right parts and be imaginative on how to do it. Although, he did not focus on the external look of the pyramid right away but the computer set up first and how it would fit inside the pyramid.
He was able to build a computer with these specifications T7200 Core 2 Duo processor, Mini-Itx Crommel LV-677 motherboard, 2GB of DDR2 Ram, a 160GB hard drive, and a G Force 9400GT graphics card. Computer experts can say it is not the best specifications although the main thrust of the project is the design outside because these will all not matter anymore once the project is finished.
Just creating the computer itself took him a few months to do. He had to make sure all the parts such as the CD ROM, hard disk and motherboard fit the frame of the pyramid to make it work.
This PC case just looks astounding. The finished product of this unbelievable case would just leave you in awe. This one of the coolest modifications of a PC cases out there. It took almost two years to finish this project and it was all worth it. Talk about a sci-fi adventure. Now this is a perfect gift for the fans of the series Star Gate.
