Sony announced a new smartphone waterproof "Sony Xperia M2 Aqua" which is new model of "Sony Xperia M2". Sony Xperia M2 Aqua is a Android OS v4.4.2 KitKat over Qualcomm MSM8926-2 Snapdragon 400 with Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, Adreno 305 GPU, Accelerometer, proximity, compass, Java via Java MIDP emulator and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. Sony Xperia M2 Aqua featured with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi with Hotspot, Bluetooth, NFC, microUSB v2.0 and 2G 3G 4G network.
