Sonam said, "One of my friend's mother had breast cancer and I have seen what she has gone through. Few women after menopause, tend to get susceptible to breast cancer and it is very important for them to be aware of the issue in order to cure it. As a face of Elle in this campaign I will use my celebrity status to tell women to be progressive and not regressive."
