Selfie Is A Disease of Mental Disorder

American Psychiatric Association has verified the fact that those people who take selfies via their smartphone cameras and then upload them at social media websites is a mental disorder.

Such people who snap photos of themselves three times in a single day lack self-confidence. If they do not upload the photos on any social media or social networking website then they are on the borderline of this mental disorder but those people who do it more than three times in a single day and do upload the selfies on social media and social networking websites, they are facing intense mental disorder and severely lack self-confidence.

According to doctors, there is no proper treatment till this point but if the patients are treated to improve their self-confidence, this mental disorder could become better with the improvement in the level of self-confidence.

Selfies are a behavior, not a disorder. If someone is addicted to selfies, it's a mental disorder (not addicted as in slang but the clinical definition). It's also possible for it to exasperate things like narcissism for already narcissistic leaning people. It's also important to note that in teens, it's usually not unhealthy or unusual. It helps with things like navigating identity and self-presentation- it's natural for teens to be focused on those things to a degree.
